Dual Touring Saddle provides you and a passenger with sculpted seating and long range comfort. Our generously contoured platforms provide better weight distribution to eliminate hot spots and give long range support. Corbin’s exclusive Comfort Cell® foam material gives firm support that conforms to your body over time for a personalized fit. Naturally, we keep a nice flowing line on the bike that fits the vintage theme and fits perfect.
Corbin’s Dual Touring Saddle accepts two removable rider’s backrests. Each backrest is fully adjustable for a tailored fit to your posture. In the front we have engineered the backrest to fold down to make it easier to mount the bike. This special hardware (internal to the saddle) also allows the backrest position fore and aft to be adjusted to your profile. Once the backrest is installed, both of these adjustments can be performed without removing the saddle from the motorcycle.
Naturally, you can use a single Corbin backrest that transfers front to back as needed or get two backrests for full time use. Installation of the backrest is easy enough to make this possible at a moments notice. Simply slide the backrest shaft into the built in hardware and secure it in place with the provided set screw. Adjust the backrest to the desired angle and you’re back on the road in total comfort.
For the ultimate in luxury, we offer electric seat heaters in our Dual Touring saddle design. A single switch controls the heat for both the rider and passenger positions. The switch is conveniently located along the left side of the saddle so you can reach it without taking your hand off the throttle. The two position switch allows you to select a heat level depending on conditions. The level of heat is controlled automatically by a thermostat built into the control unit. This setup is very simple to install into your VTX wiring. Dual Touring seat is also available without heater units built in.
This saddle also accepts our chrome “V-rail” for an added nostalgic touch (but not if you are using the Honda sissy bar setup). Show quality chrome plating provides a nice touch of class. V-rail mounts directly to the Corbin saddle for simple installation. Naturally, we use genuine leather in all of our seat models to provide a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. A wide range of leather options are available for a custom look to suit your taste. We also include our tasteful “Tuck & Roll” stitch pattern and the option of chrome studs if desired (please specify). Leather will break in along with your foam shape to give you a personalized fit and will age gracefully with proper care. Take good care of your leather seat with a quality conditioner like Corbin’s Saddle Cream.
If you already have your VTX setup for touring with the Honda sissy bar / luggage rack setup, our Dual Touring Saddle will work with it just fine. As mentioned before, our chrome v-rail will not work on the seat with this configuration. Sorry, but at this time we do not make a coordinating sissy bar pad for the Honda sissy bar. Our saddle was engineered to allow proper seat placement for your copilot while using the Honda rack or the adjustable Corbin backrest.
Speaking of Corbin backrests, our new Ovalbac series (model #02-S shown) is the hottest thing available for your VTX. Not only does the Oval shape make a great hand hold for your passenger, but they don’t trap heat against your body like solid models do. Of course we sculpt them to provide contoured support for your back that doesn’t create a pressure point on your spine. We’ve even made the backing plates removable to add a range of customizing options (see listings below). We even offer a painted model that coordinates to your factory paint scheme.
