Bobbers are back and Indian hit the mark beautifully with their new Scout Bobbers.
This original chopped motorcycle style was big back in the `40s and `50s when “chopped” meant exactly that… Fenders were removed or chopped up to give a leaner, meaner look. The term actually had nothing to do with raking the front end and referred instead to the minimalist approach of these early customizers.
Corbin’s created a seat design that fits perfectly with the factory built Bobber Twenty now available from Indian in the Scout lineup. The vintage “saddle” shape is designed to be mounted directly to the Twenty’s metal base adapter just like the OEM unit. In case you’re wondering, “Yes” you can mount this seat to your regular Scout Bobber if you pickup the adapter from your local Indian dealer.
As you can tell in the photos, our seat design fits in perfectly with the Bobber culture.
Corbin’s solo is built up on a Fibertech base to provide a rigid foundation for the carefully designed foam shape. Our exclusive Comfort Cell foam provides a firm, supportive ride for miles of support. Naturally, the seat shaping has been ergonomically shaped to provide more square inches of body contact. This gives proper weight distribution and eliminates hot spots. Although this seat model appears vintage, the design takes full advantage of Corbin’s five decades of seat building experience.
Genuine leather seating is included in your choice of colors and styles. Leather makes a great seating material due to its durability and its ability to breathe with your body. Leather will also break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Coordinated vinyl side panels complete the look and keep your saddle shape tight. Installation is simple and Corbin seat bolts to the Aluminum adapter just like the stock unit. This adapter is NOT include with the saddle.
